The ARMS technology we will use to seed artificial reefs with healthy reef biota are typically made of PVC. In response to the need for employment during the pandemic, the desire to source materials locally, and the motivation to use natural substrates, we redesigned the ARMS to be made of locally-sourced limestone, which are now being sourced and built for deployment.
