Biography : (English)
His thesis project will focus on the study of benthic biodiversity of habitats, diversity in-situ and biomass of marine organisms related to the use of the ARMS tool. On the second hand, he will try to compare the biodiversity in-situ against the biodiversity through the environmental DNA method.
A marine biologist by training, he joined the IH.SM in 2007 to begin studie in Marine and Coastal Sciences, particularly in Marine and Coastal Biodiversity Management. Passionate about reef ecology, his Bachelor's thesis was focused on the identification of the main coral species of the Pocilloporidae at the Nosy Tafara reef. His master’s was focused on the Effects of the El-Nino phenomenon (2015-2016) on the coral reefs of southwestern of Madagascar. Specialized in the coral reefs ecological monitoring, since 2014, he has carried out numerous consultancies works for non-governmental organizations and Malagasy public institutions.

Son projet de thèse se focalise sur l’étude de la biodiversité benthique des habitats, la diversité et la biomasse in-situ des organismes marins liées à l’utilisation de l’outil ARMS. D’autre part, il essaiera d’évaluer la biodiversité entre la biodiversité collectée in-situ contre la biodiversité environnementale par l’utilisation de la méthode métabarcodage de l'ADN.
Biologiste marin de formation, il est entré à l’IH.SM en 2007 pour commencer son cursus en Sciences de la Mer et du Littoral, notamment dans la Gestion de la biodiversité Marine et Côtière. Passionné par l’écologie récifale, son mémoire de Licences était focalisé sur l’identification des principales espèces de coraux de la famille de Pocilloporidae du récif de Nosy Tafara. En master 2, ses recherches se portaient sur l’étude des conséquences du phénomène El-Nino 2015-2016 sur les récifs coralliens de sud-ouest de Madagascar. Spécialisé dans le suivi écologique des récifs coralliens, depuis 2014, il a réalisé de nombreux travaux de consultance auprès des organisations non-gouvernementales et au sein d'institutions publiques Malagasy.
